Refresher Course

and Reactivate Program

Refresher Course:

The Refresher course is designed to review skills for divers who have not been in the water for a while, or who feel more confident with open water dives after a session in the pool.  A pool session is available for those who would like to review the rules and safety requirements for diving. To be eligible for the refresher course you must have done a course and hold any scuba certification within 1 year or have done the refresher course with us or an affiliate shop within 1 years. If you do not meet this eligibility, then the PADI Reactivate course is right for you! See Below.

ADDITIONAL COSTS:     None.   

 SCHEDULE:     One pool session.

 REQUIREMENTS:                   

  • Must be 12 years or older

  • Must be Basic Open Water Certified or higher

Pool Refresher Course: This course we practice open water skills and emergency skills in a pool and then practice buoyancy . This is a great class if you have not dove between 1-5 years. (You can still take the Reactive course listed bellow if you want the knowledge development as well)

PADI Reactive Program:

Haven’t been diving lately and want a quick scuba refresher? The PADI ReActivate™ program is the perfect way to update your dive knowledge and review basic scuba skills. Whether you just need a few reminders or want a more comprehensive review, this program provides an engaging, prescriptive refresher of scuba principles and procedures.

The program has two components: 1) a knowledge review that includes interacting with ReActivate eLearning and 2) a dive skills refresher you complete with a PADI Professional. After successfully completing both components, a PADI Diver receives a replacement certification card showing a “ReActivated Thru” date. Divers initially certified through other training organizations (with proof of at least an entry-level certification) receive ReActivate Recognition Cards.

COST:     $200

  • Must be Basic Open Water Certified or higher

PADI Reactivate Course: This course you complete a PADI educational eLearning module to reactivate your knowledge and education of scuba diving. Then you have a pool session to practice open water skills, emergency skills, and buoyancy. This is a great class if you have not dove between 1 and-10 years. if it has been over 10 years we recommend completing the open water diver course again.

March 5th 2025 7-10pm

Location:    Classroom session is completed at home by eLearning. The pool sessions will be held at a local pool in the Portland metro area.
